Every year the COL commission offers financial support for young researchers based on Swiss institutions.  These funds are allocated to partially cover their participation in oceanography and limnology courses whereas the attendance to congresses and fieldwork expenses are not included.

The selection criteria are based on the applicant's educational record, the scientific quality of the project and its further integration on the applicant's vitae.

Applications including a cover letter, a complete CV as well as a letter of recommendation should be submitted to the COL president or to one of the members of the commission mentioned below. The deadlines for submission of requests are March 31 and August 31.
